Education

Rhyme-N-Reason Foundation has emerged as a catalyst for innovative change. We hold education conferences in Mississippi, Arizona and Ghana, host art and performance events in Ethiopia, Uganda and the USA, and mentor underserved youth in several countries and cultures. To promote literacy and entrepreneurism, we offer writing, art, financial literacy, and business development workshops, and assist our beneficiaries in giving back to their own communities to increase personal and environmental wellness. We need your support to continue and augment these activities.

Collaboration

In 2012 we began expanding opportunities through the publication of Telling Our Own Stories, full-color books of young people’s writing and art that we distribute internationally free of charge. Some of the writers and artists have reported that inclusion in the book has resulted in obtaining jobs, university acceptance, and media recognition in their own countries. Several of our previous issues are here.

In addition to these services, we arrange international travel opportunities so young artists and writers can collaborate on projects of their own design.

Celebration

We maintain that creative self-expression and the love of learning are tools that enhance the quality of life. Through entrepreneurship and the development of resilient communities, young people become equipped to promote peaceful solutions to local, regional and global challenges. Now that’s something to celebrate!
